Music Practice Suite:
Ezra Stiles and Morse Colleges share one large group practice room and three smaller, private practice rooms - each of which houses a piano and space for musicians. Soundproofed walls minimize external disturbance and accommodate all students in Ezra Stiles College and Morse College.
Check out the Ezra Stiles-Morse shared common spaces located under the Crescent Courtyard between the colleges and Tower Parkway – they are some of Yale campus’s hidden treasurers!
Light Court:
Located underground, the Light Court provides a beautiful and peaceful outdoor common space for Morse and Ezra Stiles Colleges, and it serves to gather visitors to the nearby Crescent Theatre, gym, dance studio, recording studio, weaving room, and Glassroom (a chill study and meeting space made possible by the generosity of a Morse alum).
The Glassroom:
Found on the lower level between the recording studio and weaving room, The Glassroom is a recently renovated (thanks to the generosity of a Morse graduate) relaxing/study/hangout space. The door is always open (by swipe) for you to come on in, flop down in a cozy chair to read, snooze, daydream or to pull up to the group table for study or to spread out a project.
Art Room:
Located next to the Glassroom, this unique Yale space is the home of weaving looms, several sewing machines, a knitting machine, a large art table, and more. Once each week a master weaver resides to provide support and instruction to participating students. Ezra Stiles and Morse College students interested in participating in the weaving program should email Alexa Martindale.
Theater:
The Crescent Underground Theater provides a dedicated facility for multi-day dramatic and dance productions as well as one-off performances such as concerts, open-mic nights, and comedy shows. The finest and most flexible undergraduate performance space on campus, it features tiered-seating, a sound system, a sprung floor, and theatrical lighting. For more information about the theater, click here or email Morse College ADO Alexa Martindale.
Dance Studio:
One of the largest and best-equipped practice spaces on campus, the dance studio provides a space for individual and group dance rehearsals as well as other activities such as aerobics and yoga classes. It features a sprung floor, a wall-length mirror, and multiple ballet barres. Questions about the dance studio? Click here or email Ezra Stiles College ADO Marc Levenson.
Fitness Center:
Located next to the Dance and Aerobic Studio, the Fitness Center provides state-of-the-art treadmills, elliptical machines, rowing machines and exercise bikes. You will also find a large selection of free weights, adjustable benches, boxing equipment, and Life Fitness/Hammer Strength machines. Open to all students in Ezra Stiles and Morse Colleges.

Recording Studio (CURS):
Morse and Ezra Stiles share the Crescent Underground Recording Studio (CURS). CURS enables individuals and groups to create professional-quality, multi-track sound recordings. CURS includes a control room with sophisticated mixing equipment and software, and an acoustically impressive live room equipped with a variety of high-quality microphones.
