Nadira Novruzov is a 2nd year Master’s student at the Yale School of Music, studying flute performance as the only wind player currently enrolled in Yale’s combined B.A./M.M. program. She graduated from Yale College with her B.A. in History in May of 2025, and was a proud Stilesian! As an undergraduate, she was an enthusiastic member of the Yale Symphony Orchestra, where she experienced many highlights, like co-producing the annual Halloween show in 2022 and performing as a concerto soloist on the orchestra’s 2023 Mexico tour. An avid writer, Nadira also spent much of her time at Yale working as a writing partner at the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning and serving as a managing editor for the Yale Herald. These days, when not locked in a practice room, she enjoys singing with Yale Schola Cantorum, reading novels, and going on runs. Nadira is so excited to remain part of the Stiles community and hopes to be a resource for all things arts and humanities!
